Ausma Bracelet · Milky Butterscotch Amber

€ 890.00

EUR incl. VAT; delivery is shown at checkout.

Ausma means dawn in Latvian, and these beads hold that first soft light: rounded ovals of milky butterscotch Baltic amber, each swirled with cream and warm yolk yellow. Polished to a gentle shine and strung on a stretch cord, the bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist and pairs as easily with linen as with cashmere. Its milky opacity comes from countless microscopic air bubbles sealed in the resin – a quality collectors prize above all in Baltic amber. A one-of-a-kind piece: you receive exactly this jewel.

Material
Natural Baltic amber – Milky butterscotch / egg-yolk amber with cream swirls. Oval polished beads on stretch cord.
Dimensions
Outer Ø ≈ 8.4 cm; oval beads ≈ 14–15 mm.

Care instructions
Amber is soft and light. Put it on after perfume and hairspray, keep it away from heat and cleaning products, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and store it separately from harder jewellery. Roll stretch bracelets on and off rather than pulling them.
Note
Baltic amber is a natural fossil resin, formed over some 40 million years. Colour, clouding, inclusions and small natural marks vary from piece to piece and are part of its character, not flaws. Styled and worn images are digitally created illustrations based on this specific catalog piece.

Georgs Romulis

Riga Old Town, Latvia

Georgs Romulis is a Riga amber jewellery house whose knowledge has been passed through the family from generation to generation. The maker began learning amber processing from his father at the age of seven, building contemporary collections on techniques acquired in childhood. The work combines Baltic amber and high-quality jewellery materials with a modern approach to form and wearability. New ideas are developed through regular study of international jewellery exhibitions and participation with the house's own collections. The purpose is to move amber beyond the familiar souvenir image and reveal the natural beauty, variation, and strength hidden inside each piece. Bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and pendants preserve the individual colour, clouding, and translucency of the material rather than disguising it.
